Here are some thought starters to get you going:
1. How did this come to be your comfort food? How did it begin?
2. Is there a specific way you like your comfort food to be prepared and served?
3. Is there a specific place you like eating this food in?
4. Where do you get your comfort food? Do you prepare it yourself or do you buy it?
5. What do you feel before, during and after you savor your comfort food?
