Hi! My name is Toni and this is my blog on writing prompts. Sometimes inspiration strikes me anywhere, sometimes I badly need a jumpstart. When was the last time you made a mixtape?

It's all about burning CDs or creating playlists now, but do you remember when mixtapes were the thing? It was a more involving process, recording one song to your blank canvas of a cassette tape. You'd grab a mic or speak closely into your stereo's speakers, leaving a cryptic message for the mixtape's recipient.

When was the last time you made a mixtape? Or if you've never made one, when was the last time you received one?

Yes I remember. This was back when my hubby and I were still dating. And yes, I used tape that time . Mid 90s already and I was so behind technology. it was fun. Lots of work and lots of love and time devoted to making it. Hmnnn..I wonder whatever happened to it?
