What's autumn like?
There's no fall where I live. I've never seen leaves turn yellow or orange. I've never felt the crisp air. I've never jumped into a pile of raked leaves. It just sounds so magical.
Can you tell me what autumn's like?

Autumn is indeed a lovely season. The colours of fall is simply beautiful. The leaves, trees and the weather is just beautiful. I'm sure you've seen a lot of photos on its beauty. But there's nothing like seeing them in person. Come and visit soon.
I wrote an entry about fall here...check it out

The migrating birds flying south are constantly announcing their presence with a chorus of various songs. At times they seem to fill the sky like clouds of motion, color and song.
The air in autumn takes on a exotic musky scent of burning leaves and damp earth, augmented with a chill the whole effect is stimulating to the soul. Our night sky's are filled with assorted tapestries of northern lights, undulating shape shifting veils of pastel colored lights, dancing with joy in the heavens. Its life changing to experience them.
The trees are dazzling in their fall colors of reds, oranges, yellows, brown and gold. Our forests go on a far as the eye can see and look to have been carpeted in a coat of many color. The bright colors of broad leaf trees contrasted against the stark green of the various conifers is a delight to behold.
Other than, its pretty much a normal event Toni. hahaha, Raven

I loved the European autumn, especially where I lived in Germany. My unit was next to a forest that turned bright red for two weeks before turning orange and yellow and eventually all the leaves fell out and winter began. There was so much colour I could just sit at my window and stare all day!

Raven: Oh wow. I've got a feeling that when I do get to experience all 4 seasons, autumn would be my favorite. Or maybe I should live in Alaska first.
Amy: Nature's palette! How lovely.
