Hi! My name is Toni and this is my blog on writing prompts. Sometimes inspiration strikes me anywhere, sometimes I badly need a jumpstart. This blog helps with those jumpstarts, when you need a little push. Hopefully the writing prompts open your mind further to new ideas and help encourage you into writing more. Tango with Me

Dancing. I never learned how to dance. My feet don't have rhythm. My body doesn't. While others sway effortlessly to the beat, I try to follow and always am not successful.

I look at how beautifully fluid the movements of others are, and boy do I admire them. The harder I try, the stiffer my movements become. And if I just go with the flow, I'd be dancing to my own rhythm. It's fun, but never at the same beat of others!

I imagine dancing makes you feel so free, and even intimate when dancing with the right partner. I can never dance, and so I will always be a spectator. The tango that I will be dancing with my lover stays in my head, never seen on the floor.

I love to dance, in all sorts of ways, the music encourages your response, try it on your own sometime and don't be put off by ineptitude, you'll improve, I think I was born to dance, I just love it, it brings me to life and with the accompaniment of music can get you going on a slow day, you'll learn to tune into your body and that has to lead to bigger and better things.
