Standing Ovation

Jason: "I told you. 10 pm, on the dot, the lamp goes on."

Ray: "Fine, Mr. Know-It-All. Give me the binoculars."

Jason: "You didn't bring your own?"

Ray: "I didn't believe it was actually going to happen. Hand them over."

Jason: (grumbles) "You have one minute."

Ray: (holds binoculars to his eyes) "Hot damn."

Jason: "What? What?"

Ray: "This is going to be the best 60 seconds of my life."

Jason: (looks into the distance, squints his eyes and groans in frustration)
