Secrets packed in boxes, past engulfing present

Stepping out her comfort zone was extremely difficult. Kendra cherished places and moments too much. It was always hard to let go and move on.

If other people kept moving on, she wondered, who would take care of what was left behind?

This was her reasoning. And so she kept the memories alive for others, even if they wanted to bury past experiences and start anew. You cannot forget where you came from, she'd badger them. You have to stay, please stay, she would silently yearn. But they always found something better. With her unwillingness to come along, they eventually packed their bags and moved on without her.

And so she was alone with secrets packed in boxes, the past engulfing her present.

i am way out on a limb right now, sometmes it is so scary, I have to remind myself I am supposed to enjoy the journey...and I do mostly...... but let me tell you there are plenty of times I long to be in my comfort zone again.....my business partner and i joke that we cant wait to write a book about it all........

I agree with Louie, we should be enjoying the journey but at times you just yearn for the comfort zone onces in a while.

I am too, always out of my comfort zone. I think I deliberately step into them though, looking for some thrill for life
