Lilith

You've heard of the story of Adam and Eve, I think. The story goes they were the first humans created -- the world's first parents.
And then there's the story of Lilith, said to be Adam's first wife. Apparently, she did not take to Adam's rules of submitting to him. Specifically, she did not want to be under him during intercourse. And unlike Eve, she was created separate from Adam, i.e. not from one of his ribs. Perhaps that gave her such an independent and strong nature.
This isn't a tutorial on creation and evolution, but a sharing on this fascination with the myth. Because of that strength in her personality, Lilith was given a lot of flack. Stories go she feasts on infants, is the mother of succubi, a demoness, stuff like that.
Granted it were true, I wonder how Lilith and her descendants turned out. I wonder if she ever got married.
Lilith. I love how her name connotes such feminine strength and quiet power.
Have you heard of this story before? What do you think of it?
