Chase the Sun

Chase it
Spread your arms wide
Close your eyes and let
the sun rays stream through you.

Break into freedom
Pedal away
Into the warm embrace
of sunbeams.

Look up
Feel the light on your face
Let the energy in and
feel alive.

hahaha, naw, Morgan, it's the precursor to a major sunburn after the rider catches up with it ~ it catches up with you and viola, sun screens aren't gonna save you completely: then that becomes the end of the world as you know it for several days.

Nice poem Toni, and I love that evening sun photo.

words for all the vampires out there me thinks, lol -- makes me feel like doing it..

the warmth of the sun, a bike (with gears lol), and an open road, all sounds good to me...
