Walking through the campus grounds hand-in-hand
Why does the wind whisk me back to summer afternoons and awkward kisses?
Promises of tomorrows in the middle of basketball games
Why do your broad shoulders and your black shirt keep coming back to me?
Petty jealousies making for makeout sessions
Why does the memory of you make me feel young again?
Going lush, going wild, without losing the intimacy of it all
Why do I yearn to be in your arms when I know it will never last?
Feeling indestructible, invincible

He still is the love of my life and we never met face to face.
It was discovered he was HIV positive at 20yrs old and ended up being hosipitalised for mental issues as could not cope with discovering the disease.
I have never heard from him for four years and do not know if he is even alive.
Carry his photo and think of him every day - if I had the money I would try and track him down in the US.
He was Australia obsessed and dreamed we had our own tin roof shack that overlooked Ayers Rock, we will meet back there in the next life.
