I would reckon she would be saying... i dont know what you would be telling a young one that small... but i expect they would be looking at the ducks, maybe somethng along those lines?

You see the sky and the trees in the water, sweetie? No, that's not a reflection. There's a whole other world in this lake. It looks just like our world but it's upside down and it shimmers, it moves. Oh, yes. They even have people living in there! People just like you and me. In fact, they look exactly the same as us, only they don't speak. Or they whisper so quiet that we can't hear. No, we can't go in there, honey.

Because we'd get wet!
